THE EVE OF SOMETHING NEW...

I'm pushing myself out of my comfort zone tomorrow! It's podcast interview day.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel slightly anxious, so I sought solace among the trees this afternoon. When my shift ended at twelve, I did what I do best, grabbed my camera and hit a local hiking trail. I needed cool air in my lungs and the therapy of every dog that dared to pass me on the path.
This year has really been about closing old chapters. Things that no longer serve me. That stuff on the to do list that somehow keeps getting swept under the rug because, you know, "I'll get to it". This year's theme truly was ACTION.
While I'm daring to say I'm proud of myself for the things I've accomplished this year, it's a little daunting to go "on air" and talk openly about it like I will tomorrow. I will introduce my latest project, along with a bit of my back story that has me taking on this endeavor. I will touch on adoption, mental health, and child/parent estrangement. I will definitely laugh, I might cry, and maybe even drop an F - bomb. The host is amazing and if you don't find my episode educational, it will at least be a little bit humorous while I find my feet at something new!
